How do I make a warranty claim?
To make a warranty claim for your product the first step is to get it assessed. Any enquires regarding products on your caravan, e.g the operation of fridges, microwave etc… please call your sales person / or manufacturer support on their website. Warranty and service will not provide any over the phone assistance on how to use products. This will be handed at a dealership / salesperson level. This is due to warranty and service being unable to conduct their operations providing instructional use or enquiries.
Option 1: Go direct to the product manufacturer
It’s often best to go directly to the manufacturer. This is because many manufacturers have dedicated support centres specifically for issues in relation to their products support and advanced troubleshooting. In many circumstances, the manufacturer may be able to provide a quicker assessment of, and remedy for, any issue with your product. You may therefore prefer to contact the manufacturer rather than JB Caravans, although you are not obliged to do this and, if at any time you are not satisfied with the manufacturer’s remedy in relation to your legal rights, you can follow up on option 2

This is the most efficient way to have your warranty claim processed and will create an electronic job card within our system. Any warranty claims that are articulated over the phone will still require a claim to be submitted though our website. Lodging a claim via the website secures your spot in the system for your warranty issue to be addressed. The JB Warranty team will assess the details you provide, including photos, and will be in touch with you throughout the process.
JB Caravans take extreme pride in the quality of the build that we provide customers, and this extends to our warranty. We ensure that our warranty is fit for purpose so when you purchase a JB caravan Off road van you buy piece of mind that your off-road warranty comes with it.
JB Caravans have a stand-alone chassis factory that builds our chassis using only Australian one steel to ensure the highest Australian standards are met. We take customer safety extremely seriously and therefore only work with the best suppliers.
You can rest assure that every caravan made by JB Caravans was wholly constructed in Australia. We are very proud to be made in Australia and contribute to the Victorian economy through jobs and investment.
Even though JB Caravans has an extensive warranty program this does not extend to appliances. The reason for this is that the suppliers have their own warranty period in place, however many of our suppliers incorporate a three year warranty on their products.
